ARS wins regional building award for third consecutive year

ALLENTOWN, Pa. -- A home theater project by Advanced Residential Systems has won top honors in the 2001 Lehigh Valley Builders Association annual awards.

ARS captured the "Home Theater" category for recreating the movie-going experience in the basement of a client's house. The project featured a faux box office, tiered seating, concession stand, remote-controlled curtains that revealed a 10-foot screen and an elaborate lighting scheme, not to mention the electronic equipment that powered the room. All functions can be accessed from a wireless touchpanel, offering the ultimate in control and convenience.

These awards mark the third consecutive year ARS has been recognized by the LVBA. The company won one award in 1999 two in 2000.

In its 11th year, the Lehigh Valley Builders Association Awards honor 25 home building, remodeling and specialty projects. Judges were drawn from other builder groups throughout the state. All entries were evaluated anonymously.
